Well Video Inspection & Diagnostics

See exactly what's happening inside your well. Our camera system lets us diagnose problems accurately without guesswork.

Stop Guessing — See Inside Your Well

Traditional well diagnosis often involved trial and error — pulling the pump, testing components, and hoping you found the problem. With our downhole video camera system, we can see exactly what's happening hundreds of feet below the surface.

Video inspection saves you money by identifying the actual problem before any work begins. No unnecessary pump pulls, no replacing parts that don't need replacing.

What Video Inspection Reveals

Casing Condition

Cracks, corrosion, holes, or damaged joints that could allow contamination or cause pump problems.

Screen Blockage

Mineral buildup, bacterial iron deposits, or sand infiltration reducing water flow.

Obstructions

Dropped tools, collapsed sections, or debris blocking the wellbore.

Water Entry Points

See where water is actually entering the well and assess aquifer zones.

Pump Position

Verify pump depth and check for twisted drop pipe or positioning issues.

Sand Fill

Measure how much sand or sediment has accumulated at the bottom of your well.

When to Get a Video Inspection

  • Before buying property — Know the true condition of the well before you commit
  • Declining well performance — Find out why before paying for repairs
  • Sandy or dirty water — Identify the source of the problem
  • Old well assessment — Evaluate if rehabilitation is worthwhile
  • After pump problems — Check for casing damage before installing new pump
  • Unknown well history — Get a baseline of your well's condition

Our Diagnostic Services

Full Video Inspection

Complete camera survey from wellhead to total depth. We record everything and provide you with the video file.

Requires pump to be pulled for wells with submersible pumps

Static Water Level Measurement

Precise measurement of your well's water level at rest. Important for assessing aquifer health and pump positioning.

Pump Performance Testing

Flow rate testing, drawdown measurements, and recovery analysis to assess your well's yield and pump efficiency.

Electrical Diagnostics

Amp draw testing, insulation resistance checks, and control system evaluation without pulling the pump.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a well video inspection cost?

Video inspection typically runs $400-800 depending on well depth. If you need the pump pulled for access, there are additional costs for that service. We provide exact quotes before any work.

How deep can you inspect?

Our camera system can inspect wells up to 1,000 feet deep, covering virtually all residential and agricultural wells in our service area.

Do you have to pull the pump?

For submersible pump wells, yes — the pump must be removed to get the camera down. For jet pump wells with open casing, we can often inspect without major work. We can do electrical diagnostics on any well without pulling the pump.

Do I get a copy of the video?

Yes, we provide a digital copy of your well inspection video along with a written report of our findings and recommendations.
