About Southern California Well Service
SCWS was founded in 2020 by Brighton Scala and Travis Sego, but our roots in well drilling run much deeper. Brighton learned the trade working with Joe Fain of Fain Drilling—a company with over 60 years of history in Southern California. Travis started at age 14 with his uncle at Sam Crum Well Drilling.
When we say "60+ years of combined family heritage," we mean it. Acquiring Heritage Well Service added another layer of expertise and history to our team.
