Frequently Asked Questions

How deep do wells need to be drilled in your area?

Well depth in your area typically ranges from 150 to 800 feet depending on local geology and groundwater levels. Our team conducts a site assessment to determine the optimal depth before drilling begins.

How long does it take to drill a new well?

Most residential wells take 1-3 days to drill, depending on depth and rock conditions. The complete process including pump installation and plumbing typically takes 3-5 business days.

How much does well drilling cost in your area?

Well drilling in your area typically costs $45-$85 per foot, with most wells totaling $15,000-$45,000 depending on depth, casing requirements, and equipment needed. We provide free estimates before any work begins.

Anza shop on CA-371

The Anza shop sits at 57174 CA-371 (US Hwy 79). That is the high-desert yard — Terwilliger, Cahuilla, Thomas Mountain, and the Aguanga wells that are closer to us than to Ramona. Founded 2020. Same C-57 license as the Main Street shop. Different dirt.

Anza wells are often shallower than Ramona granite holes and still beat up equipment. Dust, hard water, storage tanks on hillsides, float switches that stick after a windy week. We pull and inspect a lot of pumps here because “no water” on a ranch is usually a control or a hole in the drop pipe, not a brand-new drill.

If you are in Anza proper and the house is dry, call or text. Do not wait for a weekday office hour if the stock is out of water — we answer the phone after 5. Tell us whether you have a storage tank and a booster. That changes what we load.

We are not inventing an old Anza drilling company. SCWS is the 2020 shop that bought the local routes and still runs trucks from this highway.
