Pressure switch replacement
📍 Thermal
Replaced a 30/50 pressure switch on a hydropneumatic tank and checked the tank float. Also evaluated a worn booster that was overheating.
Real completed jobs from our crew across San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. These July and August 2026 jobs include pump replacements, diagnostics, pressure-tank work, and control-panel repairs.
📍 Thermal
Replaced a 30/50 pressure switch on a hydropneumatic tank and checked the tank float. Also evaluated a worn booster that was overheating.
📍 Ramona
Replaced blown disconnect fuses and measured startup amps on an irrigation well. Recommended a pull-and-replace on the aging pump set.
📍 Ramona
Installed a new 240-volt contactor so the well could start cleanly again.
📍 Warner Springs
Cleaned debris out of the pressure switch and cycled the pump. The system returned to normal cut-in and cut-out.
📍 Pauma Valley
Pulled and replaced a 2 HP pump and motor under warranty after a dead-head blew a hole in the drop pipe. Set a new 7 GPM pump at about 704 feet.
📍 El Cajon
Replaced a failed 1-1/4 inch check valve on the house booster so pressure would hold again.
📍 Ramona
Swapped in a new 2 HP booster. The pump cycled normally and the system was left running.
📍 Poway
Timed bucket tests on a 2 HP well feeding storage. Recorded about 8 GPM at start, dropping as the well drew down.
📍 Palomar Mountain
Replaced the mechanical seal on the pump so it would hold pressure again.
📍 Aguanga
Diagnosed a 1 HP well that tripped on undercurrent and would not recover volume. Calibrated the pump saver and confirmed the pump needs to be pulled.
📍 Ramona
Replaced a locked-up 2 HP booster. The new pump came up to pressure with no extra plumbing needed.
📍 Murrieta
Timed recovery on a well that shut off after short run times. Recorded amp draw and recommended a new 40/60 switch and control-box service.
📍 Aguanga
Replaced the pump-down float and a 30/50 pressure switch so the well would cut in and out at the right levels.
📍 Ramona
Cleaned ants out of the pressure switch and added air to the tank. The well was cycling normally when we left.
📍 Julian
A new flow meter kept clogging and starving the storage tank. Installed a temporary PVC bypass so the tank could fill again.
📍 Aguanga
Replaced a bug-filled pressure switch on the booster and checked the 86-gallon tank and floats. The 1 HP well was filling storage as designed.
📍 Hemet
Replaced a failed disconnect with a new six-space subpanel and double-pole breaker.
📍 Hemet
Replaced a failed 30/50 pressure switch, bypassed a leaking iron filter so the tank could fill, and installed a new tank float valve.
📍 Pauma Valley
Replaced a humming 2 HP contactor. The well still would not produce water, confirming the pump needs to be pulled.
📍 Campo
Hooked up wellhead plumbing, added a sample spigot, and removed old concrete so the well is ready for testing.
📍 Big Bear City
Installed a 3/4 inch auto-purge valve so the sand separator can dump sediment on a timer.
📍 Campo
Removed a failed concrete well pad and poured a new slab so the wellhead can be replumbed and sampled.
📍 Rancho Santa Fe
Found a 30 HP well motor drawing far above nameplate amps. Documented the pump-house setup for a pull-and-evaluate.
📍 Poway
Cleaned a clogged pressure-switch nipple and cycled the system four times. Cut-in and cut-out were back to normal.
